Cheesy Tennessee Onions

Ingredients
- 2 1/2 lbs sweet onions sliced into ¼ inch rings
- 1 teaspoon dried parsley
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon Cajun seasoning
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon kosher salt
- ¼ teaspoon ground black pepper
- ¼ cup unsalted butter sliced into pats
- 1 cup sharp cheddar cheese shredded
- 1 cup mozzarella cheese shredded
- ⅓ cup parmesan cheese grated or shredded
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350F and spray a 9×13 or similar sized casserole with cooking spray.
- Spread the sliced onions out into the bottom of your prepared casserole dish.
- Sprinkle the seasonings on top and toss to coat.
- Add the butter pats on top of the onions, followed by the shredded cheese.
- Cover the dish with foil and bake in the oven for 50 minutes. Remove foil and bake for another 10-15 minutes, until the cheese topping becomes a light golden brown.
- Allow the onions to cool for 5-10 minutes before serving, enjoy!
