Crock Pot Sweet And Sour Meatballs

Ingredients
- 36 ounce bag frozen meatballs
- 20 ounce can pineapple chunks reserve the juice for the sauce
- 1 small red bell pepper cut into 1-inch chunks
- 1 small green bell pepper cut into 1-inch chunks
- 1 small onion cut into 1-inch chunks
- ½ cup brown sugar
- ¼ cup granulated sugar
- ⅓ cup apple cider vinegar
- ¼ cup ketchup
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch
- Sliced green onions for garnish
Instructions
- Place frozen meatballs into crockpot.
- Top with pineapple chunks, bell peppers, and onions.
- In a large measuring cup or bowl, combine the juice from the pineapple chunks can, apple cider, brown sugar, granulated sugar, ketchup, soy sauce, and cornstarch. Whisk well.
- Pour the sauce into the crockpot over the meatballs. Stir well to mix all the ingredients together.
- Cover crockpot with lid and cook on LOW for 3-5 hours or until the sauce has thickened and the meatballs are fully heated through. Stir halfway through cooking to ensure even heating.
- Garnish with fresh chopped green onions. Serve as an appetizer on its own or as a meal over white rice. Enjoy!
