Easy Halloween Black Cat Cut Out Cake (Only 4 Ingredients!)

Ingredients

• 1 16 oz chocolate cake mix plus ingredients listed on box to prepare cake mix
• Chocolate frosting
• White frosting
• Gel food dye in orange and purple

Instructions

1. Prepare cake mix according to the package instructions for two 8” round cakes.
2. Allow the cakes to fully cool once they have finished baking.
3. Cut one of the round cakes to have a tail, two ears and a head shape: see image example.
4. Arrange cake slices to form the cake on your serving tray.
5. Frost the cake slices with the chocolate frosting.
6. Mix together white frosting with your food coloring and reserve some of the plain white for the eyes, mouth and whiskers.
7. Pipe on the eyes, ears, nose, mouth, whiskers and collar with the remaining frosting colors.
8. Slice and serve, enjoy!
