Ingredients
Brownies
- 1 box Brownie mix
- 1 Egg
- 5½ Tbsp. Unsalted butter- melted
- ¼ cup Milk
French Silk Layer
- 8 oz. Cream cheese- room temperature
- 1 tsp. Vanilla extract
- 2 cups Powdered sugar
- 4 oz. Semi sweet chocolate
- ¼ cup Unsalted butter- cubed
- 8 oz. Whipped topping
Topping
- 8 oz. Whipped topping
- Chocolate shavings or mini chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Then prep your 9×13 baking dish with cooking spray.
- In a mixing bowl add your brownie mix, egg, butter, and milk. Mix to combine.
- Pour into the pan and bake for 25-28 minutes or until done.
- Place on cooling rack and let the brownies fullly cool.
- Next you will use a large mixing bowl and add cream cheese and vanilla together. With a hand mixer whip until light and creamy.
- Add in powdered sugar a little at a time. Make sure to scrape down the sides to ensure the batter gets fully mixed together.
- In a microwave safe bowl add your chocolate and butter. Microwave for 30 seconds stirring well. Then repeat the heat cycle and do this until the chocolate is fully melted.
- Slowly mix in the chocolate mixture to the cream cheese mixture, making sure to stir constantly.
- Once mixed fold in the whipped topping.
- Pour the mixture over the cooled brownies and spread into an even layer.
- Next spread the whipped cream over the top in an even layer. Then top with chocolate shavings or mini chocolate chips.
- Refrigerate until you are ready to serve.
