Ingredients

  • ● 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • ● ¼ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • ● ⅓ cup sugar
  • ● 3 teaspoons baking powder
  • ● 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • ● ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ● ½ teaspoon cinnamon
  • ● 1 egg
  • ● 1 cup of chocolate milk more if batter is too thick
  • ● 2 tablespoons unsalted butter melted
  • ● Sprinkles of choice for garish optional

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, add the flour, cocoa powder, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, salt and cinnamon and whisk together.
  2. In a separate medium sized mixing bowl, add the egg, chocolate milk, and melted butter. Pour your wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined. Do not overmix, some lumps are ok. If time allows, let the batter rest for about 30 minutes.
  3. Heat a large skillet over medium heat. Coat with butter or spray with nonstick cooking spray. Pour batter into the hot pan cooking until the edges are set and bubbles start to form on the tops. Flip, and cook for an additional 1-2 minutes or until done.
  4. Garnish with whip cream and fudge syrup or your favorite syrup of choice. 5. Serve immediately and enjoy!
