If you wanted to do a homemade lasagna you certainly can! You just need to freeze it and then follow this recipe using your frozen lasagna!

This recipe is a shortcut! It really is scrumptious!

You are sure to be making this one over and over again!

I have a Live Video for this recipe too! I will be uploading for this one, if you wanted to watch and follow along! I will be adding it to Etonp Facebook page and to the blog as well!

As if you needed another reason to completely love lasagna! This is an indulgent twist on everyone’s favorite Italian comfort food!

You just fry it until golden brown, top with some parmesan cheese and dig in! You can even fry smaller pieces and serve with marinara dipping sauce for a crowd-pleasing appetizer.

Storage:

Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 3-4 days.

Reheating:

by baking on a sheet of aluminum foil at 350°F for 15 minutes.

Notes:
Be sure that the oil is at least 6” deep.
You can season plain breadcrumbs by adding a teaspoon of Italian seasoning.
If the temperature of the oil is too cold, the lasagna will soak up too much oil while cooking. If it’s too hot, it will burn.

Cutting a frozen lasagna can be challenging, which is why we recommend allowing it to thaw partially before slicing.

TIPS:

Breading the lasagna becomes more challenging as it thaws. You can set out the lasagna for 30 minutes-1 hour, then cut into pieces, bread them while still frozen, and then deep fry them later.

The quickest overall method is to bread and fry them while still frozen and then pop them into the oven for 15 minutes for
a final cook through.
