Hot Chocolate Mix – Reach for any brand of hot chocolate mix. I used a classic Swiss Miss for this recipe but any brand will work.

Ice Cream – Vanilla ice cream is the perfect pairing with the other ingredients. It is going to sweeten the drink but allow the hot chocolate and Bailey’s to be the stand-out flavor.

Bailey’s – Bailey’s is a must for this cocktail drink. It is going to offer a sweet and creamy flavor to the drink.

Variations to Recipe

Ice Cream – You can use frozen yogurt in a swap of ice cream. Or you can use chocolate ice cream, coffee flavored, etc. Any flavor of ice cream will work.

Booze – Feel free to use a different flavor of booze. Kahlua would be a great swap in exchange for the Baileys. Or you could even do vodka or another type of alcohol.

Whipped Cream – Want to make homemade whipped cream instead of store-bought? You could even flavor the whipped cream for added flavoring.

Hot Chocolate – Any brand or flavor of hot chocolate works. You could even do white chocolate or flavored hot chocolate.

If you want a thicker drink then add a bit more ice cream to the mixture. You can add ice cream to the top of the drink as it is going to make it even creamier.

You will use a cup of hot chocolate for this recipe. You will prepare the hot chocolate based on the packet of the drink. If you like a richer hot chocolate go right ahead and make it a richer flavor. Or you can make it a bit lighter if you would prefer.
