Ingredients for This Orange Sherbet Recipe

As mentioned earlier, the ingredients for this recipe are pretty simple. All you need is:

  • Condensed milk –  I used a can of Eagle Brand Sweetened Condensed Milk, but you can use whatever brand you find.

  • Orange Crush soda – You’ll need about 3 cans to make this recipe. You’re welcome to experiment with the off-brand orange soda you can find at your local supermarket.

How to Make Orange Crush Sherbet

  1. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the soda and condensed milk until the mixtures are fully combined. 

  2. Pour into the bottom of a 9×5” loaf pan, cover, and place inside the freezer for 6 hours or overnight. 
  3. When the sherbet is done freezing, scoop with an ice cream scooper into individual bowls and serve immediately.

Can I use a different type of soda for this recipe?

Yes, you can experiment with other types of soda. I think grape soda would also taste great in this recipe!

Can I add alcohol to this recipe?

You could, but it’s not necessary. The sherbet will be plenty flavorful on its own.

Do I have to use a loaf pan?

No, you could use any type of freezer-safe container.

How to Store This Orange Sherbet Recipe

If you have any leftovers, simply place the sherbet back into the freezer in an airtight container. It will last for up to 2 weeks. When you’re ready to enjoy it again, let it thaw on the counter for about 15 minutes before scooping.
